On June 3, 2026, my father told me that we were going to buy my motorcycle, but I did not expect that we would get it right away. I felt nervous and shy because I had no experience riding a motorcycle and was only used to riding a bicycle.
At that time, my father said he would teach me how to ride. He rode behind me and told me to slowly twist the throttle. I followed his instructions, but I was shaking because it was my first time riding a motorcycle.
After we had gone around our subdivision twice, I started to feel more comfortable. My father then got off, and I continued riding on my own while practicing. I learned quickly and was able to make several laps around the subdivision.
Since it was my first time, it felt amazing. Riding a motorcycle instead of a bicycle was a completely different experience, and I enjoyed feeling the wind much more as I rode around.
Of course, I was still not allowed to ride on the highway, so for now, I just need to save money and work toward getting my driver’s license.
